Professional development for instrumental and vocal teachers

Who we are

ESTA is a non-governmental organisation and was founded in 1972.

Through ESTA Education we are extending our professional development resources to teachers of all instruments and voice, with a range of professional development courses and study programmes.

ESTA Education is dedicated to meeting the needs of instrumental and vocal teachers, and to improving the quality of teaching at every level, from toddler to conservatoire.

Our Courses

ESTA postgraduate certificate (PG Cert)

The ESTA PG Cert was launched in 2017 and represents a partnership and collaboration with the University of Chichester in the UK. This international course is at Masters Level (level 7) and is delivered 100% online, with the option of a 4 day residential study at the University of Chichester campus. The course is delivered in English.

ESTA Certificate for Music Educators (CME)

The Certificate for Music Educators (called the CME) is a programme of professional development for anyone teaching music.

It is validated by Trinity College London, at the standard of Ofqual level 4.

ESTA Foundation Certificate for Teachers (ESTA CfT)

This is a programme of study run by ESTA Education and endorsed by the University of Chichester and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

This course is currently available for teachers based in China, Hong Kong and South East Asia, who teach piano or strings.
